This past week I was assigned an important task at my internship for Vector Marketing. I was responsible for getting updates from each department manager and keeping attendance for the Sales Leadership Development Meeting. I texted each manager reminding them to promote the meeting and to let me know of any updates or changes. Making sure the Reps are excited and looking forward to the meeting is important. It is this kind of excitement that will keep them motivated in marketing and selling Cutco products. I also was tasked with making copies of the itinerary and to make sure we had enough supplies for everyone attending the meeting. While the event was taking place, I stayed and took notes which will help me on future assignments. When texting each manager about changes and updates I kept track of the information by using an excel spreadsheet to stay organized. Some of the information I tracked was how many reps were attending and if they recruited more sales reps and any other side notes.

Another big event that we started preparing for is called SEC. I am in charge of bringing all the same supplies as the last event, and the event set up. However I will also be arriving to the event early, at 8:30 AM, to sign people in and be an extra person to help with any task required. To prepare for this, I designed and ordered a banner for our team. It has a catchy phrase we came up with on it, “We’re not here to take part, we’re here to take over!” The banner came out awesome! I also purchased some lime green bandanas for our team to wear so we would all have a similar identifier.
